IDEOLOGY OF ISLAM
First of all, the question which arises in our mind is, What is ideology?
According to George Lewis, Ideology is a plan or program based upon philosophy.
Hence, Ideology is the science of ideas, visionary thoughts, method of thinking of a group or individual, and ideas based on some economic, social or political theories. Nations attempt to achieve these concepts in order to maintain their national identity.
Ideology is very important for the sovereignty and wellbeing of a nation and is therefore, considered as the pillar of a country. Because ideology is the foundation of all institutions, a base for the dignity and prosperity of the country. That ideology is very dear and close to the hearts of patriots of a Muslim Nation.
If anyone tries to target the ideology of any country he directly hurts the feelings and emotions of the millions or billions of the residents of that country. The patriotic residents of that country will utilize all resources available to them to protect ideological borders of their own country. Without caring about their health, wealth and family, they will be put in a do or die situation and try their best to counter those attacks.
It is all about love towards their country and patriotism. But for Muslims, religion is far more superior and more loveable than the country. The ideology of Islam is the love of HOLY PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ. It is a vital part of their faith. Because HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ is the well-wisher of all mankind and is the blessings for whole universe.
As 2 hadiths are stated by Imam Muhammad Ibn Ismail Al-Bukhari in his book SAHIH AL-BUKHARI chapter 2 THE BOOK OF FAITH (BELIEF).
Hadith 14:
Narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A); “ Allah’s Apostle said, By Him in Whose Hand My life is, none of you will have faith till he loves Me more than his father and his children.”
Hadith 15:
Narrated by Hazrat Anas (R.A); “ HOLY PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ said none of you will have faith till he loves Me more than his father, his children and all mankind.”
In order to complete their faith, Muslims love HOLY PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ more than their family, wealth and even more than their own lives. In front of HOLY PROPHET ‘sﷺ love, everything is meaningless to them. So to protect the ideology of Islam Muslims are always ready to sacrifice their lives. They utilise all available sources to stop that attack and cannot tolerate any disrespect towards HOLY PROPHET HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ and any blasphemous words.
By committing the sin of blasphemy one hurts the feelings of billions of Muslims around the globe.
In the end, I will leave a question for readers. While there is a punishment for a person attacking the ideology of a country and whosoever protects it, people do not call them extremists. Why is it completely opposite in case of protecting the ideology of Islam?
